Our Yellowbox Gum was collected last May locally and split over 60 man hours to create this amazing burning firewood.

Yellowbox is on par if not better than Ironbark and is available for the 2024 season.

Yellowbox gum firewood is favored for its excellent burning qualities. It burns hot and slow, providing steady heat, making it ideal for prolonged fires, such as in wood stoves or fireplaces during colder seasons. Its density allows for a longer burning time compared to softer woods, creating a lasting and consistent source of warmth. Furthermore, it produces a pleasant aroma when burned, adding to the ambiance of a crackling fire.

Payments can be made as cash on delivery or via bank transfer at least 24 hours before delivery is made to allow for clearing.

Greg's Tips

For your firewood and fire starting process, Greg suggests you mix your load with premium yellow/pink box gum. Please ask for prices of mixed loads.

When possible store in a dry place, using tarp to cover if necessary, this will help keep your wood dry throughout the season.

Order your wood early, during the winter season Wood U Like It becomes very busy, we suggest ordering in February or at least 2 weeks before you feel you will run out of firewood.

If you have a specific fire place, wood burner or pizza oven opening please let us know and we will make sure to supply the wood in easy to manage sizes.
