Our Greenbank Blue Gum™ is named for its unique sourcing over the past 18 months, drawn from a single standout tree in the Greenbank area — producing approximately 20 loads of premium hardwood firewood, now fully processed and ready for Winter 2026.

Blue Gum is a proven hardwood often substituted for Ironbark, thanks to its impressive heat output and excellent burn performance, making it a favourite among customers who want power without compromise.

FUN FACT – Greg’s grandfather hailed from Greenbank and was often seen riding his cow to school.

Greg's Tips

For your firewood and fire starting process, Greg suggests you mix your load with premium yellow/pink box gum. Please ask for prices of mixed loads.

When possible store in a dry place, using tarp to cover if necessary, this will help keep your wood dry throughout the season.

Order your wood early, during the winter season Wood U Like It becomes very busy, we suggest ordering in February or at least 2 weeks before you feel you will run out of firewood.

If you have a specific fire place, wood burner or pizza oven opening please let us know and we will make sure to supply the wood in easy to manage sizes.
