Wood U Like It is a firewood delivery + stacking service only.
Payment should be made prior to delivery through bank transfer or with cash on delivery prior to stacking.
All firewood is split, sizes vary from 5cm to 20cm in diameter, and are usually 20cm to 40cm in length. Please advise if you have a specific need.
Yes. Delivery is made using 2 utes. Each ute contains a single load due to safety of our staff.
Depending on the time of year we can sometimes deliver same day, as our wood is split well in advance. Whoever it is best to give at least a weeks notice for your delivery. Winter is especially busy so wait times can be up to 10 days.
Yes. Stacking however must be within 10 metres of the ute. If you need wood stacked at the far end of your property, away from the main access then access to the rear should be made. If you are unable to give access an extra delivery fee will be applied and wheelbarrow will be packed on board to transport. Please notify us at time of booking.
Wet weather conditions may require a re-schedule of delivery if your property does not have suitable access due to dirt driveways.
Once the firewood has been delivered and stacked we do not except returns.
We recommend that you only buy for the season and store your wood away from the house ideally on a steal structure. This will help prevent pests getting near your home.
Firewood is sourced from tree loppers, rural and development blocks. Most wood is from either fallen or dead trees. Due to this some would could contain dirt or termites.
The best firewood comes from old dead trees. All our wood is split to dry the wood ready for the winter season well in advance.
If you require our best Premium Ironbark we suggest you place your order in February to ensure your name is on our list of deliveries. Ironbark sells out very fast each season and we do have a buyers list that order each season. Get in touch to secure your delivery.
Yes. Here at Wood U Like It we have the selection of wood types that means you can mix your woods for two types of burn. This will incure different costs so let us know what you require so we can give you our best price.
We only offer a delivery service so the price you pay is for split, supply, delivery, and stacked to your property.*
Woodulikeit reserves the right to decline delivery if out of our travel area, or request toll fees if applicable.
We will liaise with you to secure your delivery spot to suit.
