Stringy Bark / Mixed Gum

Our premium mixed gum is a quality hardwood mix mostly made from Stringy Bark which has a good heat, mixed with Spotty and Yellow Box Gum that has been grounded for 3 to 5 years.

This is a combination of small pieces that burn well and split wood pieces, to get a dried wood that still has an effective burn with an average heat.

Greg's Tips

For your firewood and fire starting process, Greg suggests you mix your load with premium yellow/pink box gum. Please ask for prices of mixed loads.

When possible store in a dry place, using tarp to cover if necessary, this will help keep your wood dry throughout the season.

Order your wood early, during the winter season Wood U Like It becomes very busy, we suggest ordering in February or at least 2 weeks before you feel you will run out of firewood.

If you have a specific fire place, wood burner or pizza oven opening please let us know and we will make sure to supply the wood in easy to manage sizes.
