You can see in the picture below this old wood as a fallen tree in the paddock. For size comparison of this great firewood we have put a cup to show pieces that have been split ready to burn.

We suggest this is also a great combination wood teamed with Ironbark to get your fire burning a steady heat quickly with the Ironbark lasting the distance when it comes to burn time.

Greg's Tips

For your firewood and fire starting process, Greg suggests you mix your load with premium yellow/pink box gum. Please ask for prices of mixed loads.

When possible store in a dry place, using tarp to cover if necessary, this will help keep your wood dry throughout the season.

Order your wood early, during the winter season Wood U Like It becomes very busy, we suggest ordering in February or at least 2 weeks before you feel you will run out of firewood.

If you have a specific fire place, wood burner or pizza oven opening please let us know and we will make sure to supply the wood in easy to manage sizes.
